Rooms For Rent for Carnaval in Salvador, Bahia

WE ARE FULL UP FOR 2009!!!

Thank you for your interest.

I am helping some folks rent their apartments near to where I live, so if you are interested in one of those, please contact me at carnaval@kfpro.com.

I am an American living in Brazil with my Brazilian wife. We have two children: a 11 year old, and a three year old. They are both very sweet but they are just kids so we ask you to be patient with them! Although we all like to have fun and the beer and caipirinhas will be flowing, we do ask that any hard-core partyers think twice about staying here.

We are offering two rooms in our home for the week of Carnaval: February 19th through February 26th 2008.

This year we are doing things differently- we are only renting for up to 8 people instead of 12. Additionally, we are not offering breakfast- you must fend for yourself. This means the beds are cheaper- you won't find anything this cheap so centrally located in Salvador.

We have had guests from:

Argentina * Australia * Brazil * Canada * England * France * Greece * Holland * Israel * Italy * Ivory Coast * Japan * Mexico * Scotland * USA

We hope to see you soon!

The Double

1 room with 1 double bed: see photo.

This room is available for R$1000 for all of Carnaval (seven nights). Sleeps two, with room for a third single (inflatable) mattress on the floor. With someone on the floor the price is R$1300.

The Dorm

This room has a bunkbed and a third single bed, as well as a sofa bed which is good for 2 people. This room sleeps a total of 5 people. See photos.

The three single beds are available for R$400 for all of Carnaval (seven nights), the sofa bed (which is slightly smaller than a double bed, but will sleep two cozily) is R$600 for all of Carnaval (seven nights).

Location, Location, Location!

We live very close to the parade route in the center of the city (Neighborhood Largo 2 de Julho) - a two minute walk and you are in the center of the action. The parade route goes down Avenida Sete de Setembro and comes back up Rua Carlos Gomes (see Google Maps). Our neighborhood is about a 15 minute walk from Pelourinho, the main tourist destination. We have a large renovated historical house (very clean) with washing machine, internet (DSL and even wireless- bring your laptop!). The street is residential and is not on the beach. Contact me at carnaval@kfpro.com for more info.
